Also a bit different as it's a 6600XT but mine runs with heavy overclocking and is hardly testing the cooling system after an hour of gaming @ 1440p. WebMay 4, 2024 · Gaming is the highest power use other than 20ms peak. 550W is still more than enough. Although 550w is enough for a system with RX 6600 XT, the topology of the CV550 is not. You don't want a double forward, groupregulated unit in a recent system with dedicated GPU. Look for a new PSU with LLC + DC-DC topology.
