On arctic website it says its "max cooling performance is 95w" however "85w is recommended". 8700k is 95w. 8700 is 65w. so yeah itll be fine for a couple weeks but buy a new cooler as soon as possible.

The 8700k max turbo is 4.7ghz vs 4.3ghz and the base clock on the 8700k is 3.7ghz vs 3.2ghz. The 8700k does not come with a cooler and you will have to buy an aftermarket one and deal with installing that, which can be a pain if you do not have experience. The 8700 tends to run not as hot as well.
